"I have been training with Jon for 4 years and in that time he has helped me to achieve many training goals; whether it was running a half marathon, climbing Mont Blanc, or learning new skills such as pull- ups or using rings. His training sessions are fun, tough and challenging. I always look forward to training as I never quite know what he will throw into the mix. His enthusiasm and extensive knowledge shines through in everything he does. He combines diet, training and well-being to ensure you reach your desired goal! He cares about his clients, encouraging them to reach for the stars and takes great pride in their achievement. I would highly recommend him."

"Jon has been providing me with personal trainer services for the over two months. These sessions have always been well planned and enjoyable. Jon is very punctual and organised. He varies the exercises each session so I am never bored. Jon explains things carefully and clearly with demonstrations and he put things into context regarding the anatomy and benefits of each exercise which is very useful. The effects of regular sessions with Jon have been very impressive. I am much less stiff and more mobile even though I have a serious back condition. I have also begun to loose weight and feel much more motivated and positive to work out at the gym regularly. Jon has a very friendly and engaging manor of working which always puts me at ease and makes the sessions fun. He uses a mixture of challenge and encouragement well to ensure progress is effectively made. Jon has many years of teaching experience and this shows in his level of expertise and interpersonal skills. I would highly recommend Jon to clients of all ages. He really is doing a great job."

"As a retired professional coach myself it’s been difficult finding someone who has the level of knowledge and expertise to match that I’ve accrued over the years. At 61, I was looking for a coach who would push me to my limits with consideration for the accumulative injuries that I had picked up throughout my sporting career. I was introduced to Jon Bailey by my wife who is a compulsive trainer herself and had been trained by Jon for a while, since then I haven’t looked back. Jon is able to create varied exercise routines that are enjoyable and taxing, each session is different - you never know what’s coming next. I highly recommend Jon and feel confident that any new clients would benefit from this life changing opportunity. I feel great and my wife loves my toned body!!

"I have known John Bailey for 10 years, when he started training my son who had a rugby injury and needed help in keeping form. My son found him inspirational and caring and loved his training. i started training with him about 4 years ago although I had considered it for a while but felt it probably wasn’t for me. I eventually took the plunge and have never looked back. I can honestly say that as a middle aged woman approaching menopause with all of the accompanying crisis of confidence and changing body panics that this changed my life. I felt empowered and vital again and re-gained a lot of self respect and confidence. WhenI first started I had not long recovered from a prolapsed disc, despite all of the pilates, swimming and yoga I had been doing. John’s training is cautious but effective and very soon my back and body were so much stronger that I have had no problems since. He is fun to work with, gentle but pushy and caring at all times and above all extremely professional."

"I take part in a varied range of fitness activities throughout the week but enjoy the challenge of completing Jon’s demanding fitness sessions more than others. Jon has the ability to create training sessions that keep me focussed and enthused for the full hour, I leave the sessions drained but on a high. His training has actually made a real difference to my body shape and tone – even though I’m over 50! I highly recommend you try it."

"I am fitter and healthier now than I was 20 years ago (and I’m 60) and its thanks to Jon. He encourages without being bullying. He makes what is basically for me a boring activity worthwhile. I exercise for the end results and Jon makes sure I achieve my goals. And he’s also a very pleasant person (but don’t tell him that!)"

I'm a 67 year old male, recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I needed to make changes in my life and improve all aspects of my lifestyle. I was introduced to Jon Bailey by a good friend of mine who is 66 years old and has been trained by Jon for the past fourteen years. It only took one session to convince me that Jon had the knowledge and skills to assist me in my training objectives. Thanks to Jon, I am now a regular trainer and enjoy a much improved lifestyle. If you want to make a difference to your health and well-being I would highly recommend you speak to Jon.

Jon has now been putting me through my paces since 2019. I am a swim coach and teaching swim lessons with ‘yummy mummies’ on poolside and/or coaching adults to competitive level means that I have to look the part. This means core and strength work. Jon tailors and adapts lesson plans to fit in with my timetable and abilities, whilst taking into account any weaknesses and fatigue. I am nearly 60 with two grandchildren and my swimmers and their parents have never guessed my age or even realise that I am so much older than I look. With Jon’s workouts, I plan to keep it that way!
